why is college so fucking exhausting

...and it hasn't even officially started yet. we had two dumbass coding classes in the morning where I learnt nothing new - but I did code a few programs in C and read 50 pages of deceptive majority on my laptop. caught up with most of my friends which was nice. the roommate sitch kinda killed my mood because it looks like I'll be rooming with an mtech again AND all my friends bailed on me to room with each other, so I caved and had a super bland tasteless chole bhature for lunch that cheered me up. but she seems nice, and we have a room divider so hopefully it isn't gonna be that bad. AT LEAST i got to talk to kace for a bit after lunch though which was easily the best part of my day. and I have a queer group meeting in two minutes so I had to hang around college for a few hours without having anything to do so I sat with tushita and we bitched about college and our horrendous gpas and evil profs for like. 2 hours straight. also she called me the nicest person at this college which made me 🥺 but I have a raging headache and am so fucking eepy. anyway I'll get to meet temi soon and she's bringing chocolates and then i get to go home godbless. I am NOT attending the stupid refresher module tomorrow no sireeeeeee
at least I had a nice orange. im tired of carrying this unnecessarily heavy fuckass bag everywhere agishjdgifjgj

anyway hi. im here from tumblr, because my tumblr addiction was becoming just a tad bit concerning and lowkey ruining my life. but I liked that I had something of a consistent journal where I could pen my thoughts on the go for four (!) years, and I tried getting an ACTUAL journal to compensate but it's just not the same. do you ever know these people who you think are super cool at first but then they make their entire personality this other person (oft a boyfriend or partner of some sort) and it's like they don't have a personality outside of the other person anymore and it's. SO FRUSTRATING. LIKE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING TO FIT TO YOUR PARTNER'S TASTE AND ONLY CARE ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE WHEN THEY'RE INVOLVED AND NEVER DISAGREE WITH ANYTHING THEY SAY AND JUST UGH. it's like you can't even talk to them one on one anymore you just get the blandest most robotic responses and it's like losing someone you care about except you haven't lost them just. any semblance of a personality they used to have. like it's not even jealousy at this point it's just resignation.  ok rant over. daniel is leaving discord.
