I fucking loooooooove my college

istg this bhosdike college. firstly they'll tell you college is opening on 12th. then they'll send you an email on 6th saying you need to be there by 9am for classes every day starting 7th. which, okay, fine, im used to their bakchodi from the last two sems so I kinda figured this would happen. RIP my poor classmates who thought they had five more days of break T-T

anywayyy. THEY STILL HAVEN'T ALLOCATED US HOSTEL ROOMS. WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO STAY FOR THE NEXT THREE DAYS. I GUESS I'M JUST SUPPOSED TO SLEEP IN THE FUCKING LIBRARY IDFK

also their portal is so baddd they still haven't given us our grades from last sem and they're not letting us register for courses even though they're sending us e-mails telling us we need to. no. you go to the portal and it just gives you an error message saying course registration dates for summer term are over:) WELL THIS ISN'T THE FUCKING SUMMER TERM IS IT

also the shitty bully romance is going pretty well. i also downloaded this other book called deceptive majority and am pretty excited to start it:) it's a non-fiction book about (surprise) hindutva and caste. yeah I know that's pretty much every non-fiction book I've read this year but they're all actually pretty different theme-wise beyond the obvious over-arching subject. can you even blame me in these trying times like what else would I even read about. I need brain food to be able to constantly fend off the bigoted dipshits in my dad's extended family and at my fuckass engineering college. like this one is about the fake consolidification of diverse (mostly dalit and dravidian) religions and how they were assimilated and saffronized into hinduism despite being extremely different unique entities. so when we say india is "80% hindu" and should be a hindu rashtra...even the questionable moral implications aside that's not entirely true even from a strictly majoritarian perspective.

anyway so I've been reading a lot over the break and I've settled into a comfortable pattern. like that one agricultural technique. strip cropping. interlope nutritious reading (books I can actually learn something interesting from) with junk food for best experience lol. 10/10 would recommend skjfdhkgdfjh thathaiah would be proud that I'm finally reading tons of non-fiction at least (even if the subjects could use some diversification but I have adhd oops)
